Ronald E. Plante, 71, of Woonsocket, died November 10, 2020 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Pauline (Thibeault) and Leo Giguere.
Ronald worked many years as a tool maker for Polytop, North Smithfield. He was a member of the Woonsocket Elks, and a member of the North Smithfield Fly Fishing Club.
He is survived by two daughters, Dana Chamberlin and her husband, Kenneth of Pascoag, and Kristie Plante of Slatersville; a brother, Robert Plante of Syracuse, NY; and two grandsons, Daniel and Nathan Chamberlin.
Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
