Anna T. Goulet

Marie Therese Anna (Cardin) Goulet, 96, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2020 at the Ballou Home, Woonsocket, RI. Anna was born to Michel and Theodelaine Cardin on February 25th, 1923, and was the loving wife of Alexander Goulet for 72 years.

She is survived by her sister Beatrice Poisson of North Smithfield, son Edgar Goulet of Charlestown RI, son Alexander Goulet and his spouse Dottie of Woonsocket RI, daughter Vivianne Baillargeon and her spouse Marc of North Smithfield RI, son Andre Goulet of Sun City Florida, daughter Louise Gately and spouse William. Anna had 12 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Anna made a beautiful life at the home she owned for over 60 years. She spent decades hiking, braiding rugs, and playing guitar. She was often found tending to her flowers or chopping wood behind the house. She always kept the cookie jar full, the house warm, and the wine flowing.

Anna was many things to many people. She was Ma to her children, Mmre to her grandchildren, My Dearest Anna to her husband, and Anna Banana to her friends at The Ballou Home. She brightened the lives of many and will be missed dearly.

Her funeral service will be Friday, February 28, 2020 at 11AM in Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Rd., Cumberland, RI 02864. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
