"There lived not, nor, I imagine there shall ever be, a more matriarchal, determined, resilient, loving, genuine, caring, sincere and beautiful woman than Laura. Her enormous pride in and of her family, love of life, and respect for all are qualities and ambitions that we should only, one day, even HOPE to even approach as she most certainly coined the phrase: ""Lead by example.""Laura's sharp, yet, still kind sense of humor, appreciation for what the good Lord had given her, (even through the countless setbacks and obstacles she encountered throughout her existence on this plane) speak volumes to not just the woman and lady that she ""was,"" but, much rather, the presence of her being that will forever continue, each and every day, as she shall REMAIN with us all, in heart, spirit, and mind, showing us the way forward, until the days of joyous reunification for us all. You, Laura Woodman Lemek-Strojny, have done more in one lifetime than virtually all could ever have even dreamt to have done, and, accomplished. No one on this earth could ever have asked for, or even imagined, a better mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, wife, or friend than what you, without fail, perennially showed us all yourself to be.We shall forever love you, miss your physical presence, (until we meet again...) but, continuously carry your spirit, spunk, and love of life in each of our hearts every...single...day, as you have taught us all. By the way, on a personal note, please tell than cantankerous brother of yours, Walter, that I, David, am not ""fat,"" but rather, just ""big-boned!!!""""I know your lifeOn earth was troubledAnd only you could know the pain. You weren't afraid to face the devil,You were no stranger to the rain...Go rest high on that mountainGirl, your work on earth is done.Go to heaven a-shoutin'Love for the Father and the Son...Oh, how we cried the day you left usWe gathered round your grave to grieve.I wish I could see the angels facesWhen they hear your sweet voice sing...Go rest high on that mountainGirl, your work on earth is done.Go to heaven a-shoutin'Love for the Father and the Son."""
