Constance "Connie" M. Nault

Constance M. Connie (Brodeur) Nault, 84, of Paul Dr., Blackstone, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on December 18, 2016. She was the wife of the late Rene E. Nault, whom she married on October 25, 1952. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Clotilde (Poirier) Brodeur.

Connie was a wonderful and loving Wife, Mom, Memere and Great Memere, whose love for her family was beyond words. Over the years, she worked various jobs, including the old mills of Woonsocket, Dunkin Donuts, Avery Dennison Corp, and most notably St. Vincent De Pauls second hand store, also in Woonsocket, where she was lured out of retirement to manage the store as a volunteer from its inception until it closed a few years later.

She is survived by five sons, Albert Nault and Michael Nault both of Oxford, MA, Raymond Nault of Blackstone, Charles Nault of Mount Juliet, TN and William Nault of Cumberland, two daughters, Susanne Nault of Los Angeles, CA, and Anne-Marie Smith of Webster, MA, sister, Helene Normandin of Woonsocket, twenty two grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, John, Gerard, and Leonard Brodeur, and her four sisters, Cecile Bernard, Madeleine Laramee, Rita Brunelle and Pauline Pepin.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Pauls Church, 48 St. Paul St., Blackstone. Burial will follow in St. Pauls Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 dept 142, Memphis TN 38101-9908.
