In loving memory of

Lori Jean Ross-Moore
October 23, 2016

Lori Jean Ross- Moore, 56, of Blackstone, died October 23, 2016, in Briarwood Rehabilitation Healthcare Center, Needham, MA. Born in Winchester, MA, she was the daughter of Arthur and Nina (Fudge) Ross.

Lori attended Fisher Junior College in Boston and then American University in Washington, D.C, graduating in 1982. Shortly after she started her job at Microsoft she moved across the country to Bellevue, Washington where she raised her three daughters. Lori was a driven, beautiful woman with a passion for travel, new experiences and laughter. She touched the lives of everyone she came across and could brighten every room she entered. She began every day with a chai tea and ended with a smile. Lori loved capturing every moment with her camera. She also had a love of theater, which drove her to be on the Board of the Seattle Childrens Theater. Throughout her life, she spent much of her time participating in many charities and embodied compassion.

As a mother, she showed her daughters endless amounts of love and support. As a sister, she showed compassion and pushed her family to reach their greatest potential. As a daughter, she showed great devotion and would drop anything to help her parents. Everyone she came across was graced by a woman with the biggest heart and the happiest smile. Lori will be missed immensely by her family and friends. Her impact on those who loved her and this world will never be forgotten.

Besides her mother and father she is survived by three daughters, Bryanna Moore, Alyssa Moore and Cassandra Moore of Bellevue, WA; three brothers, Arthur Ross Jr and Mary Jo Ball of Leicester, NC; Robert Ross and his wife Sharon of Uxbridge, MA, and Stephen Ross and his wife Lesley of Franklin, MA; two sisters, Carol Archambault and her husband Jon of Blackstone, MA, and Marcia Beaulieu and Dennis Parente of North Providence, RI. Lori is also survived by be many nieces and nephews and one great nephew.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016, beginning with visitation at 2 PM followed by a service at 4:30 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to http://act.alz.org/goto/LoriMooreRoss

"Dear Briana and Alisa, I was your nanny back in your baby days here in Virginia. The last Christmas card that I received from your mom was a letter of her life and family. She never missed sending me cards until we moved out of our townhouse. She might have sent the cards but post office never send them to me here in my new address. I was shocked and so with Jon when we found out about Lori. She was full of life. She was always smiling. The last time I saw you guys when you visited me when I had my second child. Cassy was also a tiny baby then. Btw, Alisa was the only witness to my judge wedding. We will never forget her and that moment. I am always remembering the time I was taking care of you guys, I was waiting for Briana to come home from school bus while holding Alisa. I was 24 then. I hope everyone is doing well. Lori did a great job rearing you. You all are bright and beautiful and successful. She is very proud of her girls. She is always missed. I hope everyone is safe and healthy. Thinking of you,Gina Boryan"

"I am overcome with emotion having recently learned of Lori's passing. I had the honor of working with Lori and Microsoft in the legal department. She was always so warm, kind, welcoming, friendly, positive human being. She often spoke of her daughters. One could always see the love she had for each of them. Lori had a very infectious laugh that if you heard down the hallway knew who's it was and couldn't help but to smile. I send my love to her daughters, family and friends during this very difficult time. You will continue to be in my prayers.
