Raymond F. Ranslow, 54, of Woonsocket, passed away in his home, Wednesday, October 12, 2016. He was the husband of Marie (Gill) Ranslow. He was the son of Edward and Betty (Sadowski) Ranslow.
Ray worked for Cybex International for many years. He enjoyed dirt bike riding and computers. The family would like to thank Hospice Nursing Placement of RI for their outstanding care.
Besides his parents, and his wife, Marie, he leaves his children, Richard Hall, Jr. of Woonsocket, Melissa Russell and her husband Joseph of Northbridge, MA, Stephanie Kennedy and her husband Thomas of Northbridge, MA, Rebecca Hall-Godin and her husband Joseph Godin of Woonsocket; three sisters, June Smith and her husband Jimmy of Millville, MA, Deborah Ranslow of Woonsocket, Linda Desrosiers and her husband Albert of Warwick; his grandmother, Dorothy Sadowski of Uxbridge, MA; a beloved sister-in-law, Carol Ann Dionne of No. Smithfield; as well as eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward Sadowski, and Leah and Herbert Hub Ranslow.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Ave. The family requests that those attending wear purple shirts in honor of Raymond. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
