"John was my dentist throughout my childhood and later on in life he was one of my late father's closest friends. He was a gentleman and a ""gentle soul"" who dedicated his life to his family, his wife, daughters and grandchildren. John was a competitive golfer who trounced me and my father in a couple of father/son matches. I am sure my late father was there to greet John as he entered the gates of heaven. With John's passing the world is a little less and heaven is even more."

"My wife Michelle and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Louise and all the Picard family at this most difficult time. Without Dr. John( Jean ), my life in dentistry would never have been what it is. He was a mentor, father figure, inspiration and true friend. Dr. Jean taught me about kindness, honesty, and most importantly, humility. His success in dentistry was measured in the number of patients he had and in the bond they shared. He was strong in stature but soft in voice and tempermant. He will long be remembered by those who knew him and loved him."
