WOONSOCKET - Kathleen L. (Wildes) LaForest, 86, of Woonsocket, died Friday, March 27, 2015 in Oakland Grove Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Rudolph J. LaForest whom she married Thanksgiving Day 1954. Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Kate (Powlton) Wildes. Kathleen was a seamstress for 22 years at Uniroyal, retiring in 1958. She enjoyed travelling, bowling and bus trips She leaves her son, Duffy LaForest of Millville; her grandson, Jamie LaForest and his wife Jennifer of Woonsocket; two great grandsons, Owen and Brent LaForest; and her sister, Phyllis Beaudoin of Woonsocket. She was predeceased by her brother, Arthur Wildes and two sisters, Elizabeth Smith and Edith Brouillette. Family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside service on April 6, 2015 at 10 AM in Precious Blood Cemetery, Rathbun St., Woonsocket.
