LINCOLN - Boyd L Minnis, 89, died peacefully with his family by his side at The Holiday Nursing Home in Manville. He was a pipeline welder and a proud member of the 798 Pipeliners Union for sixty years. He was the beloved husband of 69 years to Dorothy (Hansen) Minnis. Born in Meadville, PA, he was the son of the late Clement and Laura (Stainbrook) Minnis. Boyd spent his time between Elsworth, ME and wintered in Sebastian, FL for many years. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, his sons, Brian Minnis of Burrillville, Larry Minnis of North Smithfield, David Minnis of St. Albans, ME, his daughter, Linda White of Upton, MA, and his brother David Minnis of Meadville, PA. Boyd also leaves eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of Holt Funeral Home 510 S. Main St Woonsocket.
