Peggy was born in Rochester NY and was 1 of 10 children to Victor and Ethel Tranello.

Despite all the Tranello kids being split up after the death of their father, they all managed to stay in touch. Family has always been very important to the Tranello's. Tranello family picnics are still going on today.

Peggy has always been involved with her church. She was an amazing bowler back in her day. She loved to cook, crochet, sew & knit blankets, and afghans. She enjoyed playing cards, her two favorite card games were Rummy & Jellybean.

Peg & Bill were married on June 5th, 1954. They had two children, Billy, and Mary Pauline. Peggy loved to cook and entertain guests at their home on McArdle Street. Peggy was well known in the neighborhood by all for her famous Banana Bread. When she would make it, she was always sure to make large batches and gave it out to everyone.

Peggy was a stay at-home mom while Bill continued his working career at Grossman's.

Peggy's two grandchildren are from her daughter Mary Pauline. Sarah Jane is the oldest and Rachel Lee the youngest. Peggy and Bill were always very actively involved in their granddaughter's lives and were proud to watch them grow up into the young women they are today.

Peggy enjoyed occasional trips to the casino with her daughter Mary as she had this luck to always walk out with more than she came with.

After losing her husband Bill in 2011 to a stroke, she ultimately moved in with her daughter Mary. Mary took pride in taking care of Peggy in her golden years. Mary passed away tragically in 2014. Mary's daughters, Sarah & Rachel stepped right up, never missing a beat and they then began caring for Peggy.

To know Peggy was to love her. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

"Aunt Peggy?. Always remember her over the years being so selfless, always cheerful and always full of energy, did she ever sit down? Everyone was ?honey? to her. I remember her little dachshund dog on mcardle street, her little pal ?. If anyone could love unconditionally it was Aunt Peggy.. without a doubt heaven has welcomed home this beautiful soul and that is something to celebrate. Until we meet again? Julie"
