In loving memory of

Jackson Etto James
January 29, 2009 - September 24, 2021

Jackson Etto James was born on January 29th, 2009 and was called to heaven on September 24th, 2021.

Jackson was an active and energetic 12-year-old little big boy. His beautiful smile and long eyelashes that consumed his beautiful almond eyes would instantly light up any room.

Jackson loved anything Anime and playing football. He looked forward to going fishing whenever he could. He also loved yo-yoing. So much so that he never let his best friend, Josh, play. Jackson was an old soul with a heart of gold. He would do things for others without ever being prompted. He had a great sense of humor and would never hesitate to correct you by starting off with his infamous, "Well, actually" and proceed with his justification in correcting you.

Jackson was and will forever be the most beautiful little big boy we were blessed to call son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, and friend.

Jackson is survived by his mother Norma Herrera, stepfather Andy Saucedo, father Sametto James, sisters Beau and Savina, brothers Georgie, Brodie, Kyle and Santiago, maternal grandmothers Rachel Sandoval and Benita Herrera.

He is proceeded in death by his maternal grandfather Andres Herrera and paternal grandmother Etta James.

Jackson Etto James, never forgotten, forever in our hearts.

"I held you in my arms the day you were born. I looked into those beautiful almond eyes and immediately fell in love. The most beautiful baby I had ever seen. I remember taking you and Bobis to the Town Center for ice cream then walking around the water fountain with you both, scolding you for trying to go in? The many times Uncle Scott held you in his arms, pressed against his chest? The many times we went to the pool and Uncle Scott played his crazy games with you, Bobis and Sophia. The many times more times you were over and you and Sophia would ?help? me make dinner? Memories of taking you to Ralph?s with me and coming home each time with a balloon. Oh sweet boy, you were and forever will be my and Uncle Scott?s little boy. We love you, mijo. Always and forever. Regardless if we didn?t see each other or talk to each other as often was we use you, our prayers and love for you, beautiful nephew, were always there. A poem by Toni Kane: A nephews eyes have gone forever His smile, his laugh, his face. Where once he stood before us A lone picture, takes his place Gone to soon, a fine young man From here, your place of birth I can?t believe, that this is real That you no longer walk this earth. Reality is, I know it?s true But still I can?t believe? A fine young man, with so much life Really had to leave. We loved you from your time of birth We watched you grow and learn? My nephew, we shall meet again When it?s our time, to return. Give grandpa a big hug and kiss for me? Love always, Tía Suzie, Uncle Scott and Sophia "
