Curtis Yelton, 38 of Carson, IA, passed away on September 15, 2021.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Carson. Burial will be in the Carson Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Carson is caring for Curtis and his family.

Curtis Yelton, 38, of Carson, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his home in Carson, IA.
Curtis Allen Yelton son of Edythe Stukey and Steve Yearout was born in Council Bluffs, IA on August 19, 1983. On October 31, 2020 he married Chantel Escritt.
Curtis loved anything Batman, his favorite holiday was Halloween, he enjoyed music and poetry. Most of all family was the most important thing in his life
Curtis is preceded in death by his mom, Edythe Stukey-Yearout.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Chantel Yelton of Carson, IA; children, Austin Yoakum, Sekora Squires and her husband, Cody, Blake Yoakum, Skye Bills, Carter Escritt; dad and stepmom, Steven and Danielle Yearout; father and mother in law, Kenneth and Naomi Escritt; brothers, Chris Yelton, Travis Johnson, Justin Taylor, Johnathan Yearout; sisters, Carrie Yearout, Katrina Johnson, Stephanie Taylor, Brianna Cook; nieces and nephews, Aurelia Taylor, Ronin Taylor, Makenzie Yelton, Avery Yelton, Zach Yelton, Owen Hytrek, Zoie Hytrek, Camoron Hytrek; other relatives and a host of friends.
