"What an honor to have such a wonderful aunt. Some of my best memories are times with Aunt Jeannie. My sister Connie and I were her girls and first babies before her beloved sons arrived: Stuart, Scott, and Steve. Even though Aunt Jeannie was a busy mom of three boys she continued to keep us close to her heart. We had so many adventures that always included many giggles and yummy treats. She passed on her love of holiday decorating to both Connie and me.
I will always treasure visiting cemeteries to decorate graves with beautiful handmade flower tributes. Her mantra was ?gone but not forgotten?. Country roads were paths to interesting American and Midwest history narrated by Aunt Jeannie?s rich knowledge of past events . It was such an honor to be her niece and to have been able to spend the last weeks of her life with her. Stuart Scott, and Steve had a great mom and I had a great Aunt Jeannie. Gone but not forgotten. Love to Stuart and Steve at this sad time. "
