In loving memory of

Garrett Neville Wall
November 3, 1982 - September 2, 2021

GARRETT NEVILLE WALL
Garrett Neville Wall, 38, of Austin Texas, beloved son of Mary Nell and Robert K. Wall, died
September 2, 2021.

He was born November 3, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas and lived his life in Austin. Garrett was a
graduate of Austin High School, class of 2001, and was a student at Austin Community College.
He was stung by red wasps in May and June 2008. The effects of these stings sent him into
anaphylactic shock which took a heavy toll on his body from which he never fully recovered.

Garrett was a loving young man who will be missed by everyone who knew him. He liked to
listen to music of all kinds, especially 50s & 60s rock-n-roll. He loved listening to comedy
routines on his I-Pod and various comedy programs on TV.

His heroes were Clint Eastwood and Bruce Lee. He loved going to Port A with his father to fish
offshore on the father's boat. He was a good fisherman and enjoyed the challenge of catching
the big one. He went fishing one day with friends of his father and returned to the dock
soaking wet! When asked about being soaked he replied with a grin, "That's what happens
when you catch your first sailfish, they throw you in the water"!

Garrett was predeceased by his grandparents Martha and Neville E. Johnston, Elizabeth and
James F. Wall, and his uncle J. Richard Wall. He is survived by his parents, aunt, great aunts,
and multiple cousins.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435
Frontier Trail, Austin, Texas.

Private burial following at Onion Creek Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please donate
