Bryan Louis Schultz, 48, of Negaunee, died Thursday, September 9, 2021 at UP Health System-Marquette following a short illness.
He was born June 7, 1973, in Muskegon, Michigan, a son of Richard and Mary (Burns) Schultz. He was a 1992 graduate of Ishpeming High School.
Bryan was employed as a lead boiler and kiln operator at Potlach Sawmill from 1998 to 2014.
He enjoyed spending time with his girls, the outdoors hunting, camping, archery and fishing on his boat.
Bryan is survived by his children, Bryelle Schultz and Payton Schultz of Big Bay; step-children, Kirk Bragenzer of Marquette and Taylor Roberts of Kenosha, WI; "family", Ashley (Chet) Barto of Negaunee; parents, Richard & Mary Schultz of Negaunee; step-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Jadyn, Kirk Jr. and Nova; significant other, Abby Nardi of Ishpeming; siblings, Kevin Schultz of Kalispell, MT, Dan (Tara) Schultz of New Boston, MI and Laura (Robert) Spade of Gwinn; former-spouse, Danielle Bragenzer of Big Bay; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Bryan's life will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 1 to 4 pm at Woodland Church in Marquette.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Bryan's family in care of Richard Schultz, 153 Maple Ridge Road, Negaunee, MI 49866.
