Kenneth Clay Asbury
April 14, 1951 - September 7, 2021

GREENSBORO- Mr. Kenneth "Kenny" Clay Asbury, 70, of Greensboro, NC passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 7, 2021. Kenny was born April 14, 1951 in Kanawa County West Virginia to the late Luther Howard and Maggie Rice Asbury. He was a tree worker for over 30 years and a long time caregiver for several people. Kenny enjoyed NASCAR racing, fishing, country music and was always the life of the party.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Asbury is preceded in death by six brothers Charles, Buddy, Howard, Roy, Earl Franklin, and Harold Asbury, and two sisters Thelma Jane Asbury and Dorothy Robertson. Left to cherish his memories are his very special son Kenneth Asbury, Jr. of Ripley, West Virginia, two sisters Sissy Fowler of Greensboro and Ruth Edison (Robert) of Greensboro, one brother Robert Asbury (Linda) of Silver Valley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The schedule for a gathering to celebrate the life of Mr. Asbury is incomplete at this time.
