"Danny was so much more than a school custodian. He was a "hug buddy" for Annette and likely for other children. She made her smile and feel at home at Wellman Elementary. And he always had a comment or thought that would give me a chuckle. He was one of the people at school that I was blessed to get to know!"

"What a great guy he was to be around. Always put a smile on your face when he was in your vicinity. A unique character if ever there was one. Enjoyed very much working with him at Wellman Elementary all those years. He'll be missed!"

"Danny will always be a great memory in my heart and life. We had such great times working together.
We laugh, cried and sitting on his lap telling him my problems and he talked about his, especially losing a friend. I will always remember driving downtown
Wellman and Danny would find somebody he knew on the street and he would tell me to stop. I did what I was told until he would tell the guy, hey have you met hornary and then laugh his butt off. Of course that is when I would hall off and smack him. The first time I had the honors to meet Danny
Was in 1991, when the elementary flooded. When someone put salt on the grass at the high school
Describing how they felt about the principal, Danny drew a picture of me picking up the salt bent over
With polka dot underwear and other pictures I still have. Oh the stories he would tell.
I will always love you Danny and miss you. Sandy thank you for sharing your great man with all of us. Until we meet in heaven."
