Carolyn T. Dages
January 4, 1929 - September 8, 2021

Carolyn T. Dages, 92, passed away at her residence Wednesday, September 8, 2021. She was born in Daviess County, January 4, 1929, to Mary (Westhafer) Kennedy and John N. Kennedy. On January 22, 1946, she married Ralph Bernard; he passed away February 10, 2000.

Carolyn was retired from the Naval Surface Warfare Center (commonly known as "Crane") in Crane, Indiana.

A graduate of Montgomery High School, Carolyn enjoyed quilting. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.

Those who now cherish Carolyn's memory include her children: Susan Dosch of Evansville; Joan L. Cornelius of Washington; Douglas (Carolyn) Dages of Terre Haute; Dennis Dages of Eldon, Missouri; Steven (Sue) Dages of Montgomery; and daughter-in-law, Peggy Dages of Montgomery. Carolyn was blessed with twenty-one grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

During her lifetime, Carolyn mourned the loss of her parents, Mary and John Kennedy; daughter Jean Dages; son, Mike Dages; grandson Joe Bickler; granddaughter, Krista Cornelius; son-in-law, John Dosch; brothers, John Kennedy; William Kennedy; and sisters, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Kenney; Marian L. Vollmer, and Helen M. Dages.

The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to: Daviess County Right To Life, PO Box 41, Washington, Indiana 47501.

Visitation for Carolyn Dages will be Tuesday, September 14, 2021, 10:00 am-12:00 pm, at St. Peter Church in Montgomery, Indiana. The funeral will immediately follow the visitation at the church at 12:00 noon. Father Sudhakar Bhastati will be the celebrant.

Interment will be in the St. Peter Cemetery, 7660 East US Highway 50, Montgomery.
