Charlene Henderson, 78, of Dickson, TN, formerly of Cumming passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Charlene was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked as a CNA for Vanderbilt University Hospital's Physical Therapy Department. Charlene was a member of The Rock Creek Church and is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Hazel Nicks and her brother, Lawrence Nicks.
Survivors include her children, Carrie and Frank Swanson, Jamie Chadwick, Todd and Jackie Henderson, Tracey Henderson; grandchildren, James and Thomas Hyde, Bryan and Christopher Jarvis, Jason Henderson; sister, Roberta Mangrum; brother, John Ray and Stella Nicks; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 10, at 12:00 p.m. at the Sawnee View Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Johnny Padgett officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
