In loving memory of

Anthony M. Vos
September 24, 1976 - August 30, 2021

Anthony M. Vos (44) passed away on August 30, 2021, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was best known to everyone as Tony or Coach Tony. Being an Arizona native he enjoyed living life to the fullest. His passion was soccer and he enjoyed visiting the beaches in Mexico, attending his favorite bands in concert, and taking care of others with his cooking.

During his 20-year career on the soccer field, he was a coach and mentor to many in Phoenix and the surrounding areas. He most recently coached for the Phoenix Rush Soccer Club and Cactus Shadows High School, and he was affiliated with Desert Elite for many years as well. During these years he passed on not only his love for the sport, but he helped mold each player into an amazing person. There was no shortage of encouragement, optimism, or laughter when he was near you. He took his role beyond the field and made sure each player knew they could count on him for anything.

Tony was loved by all he encountered, be it on and off the field and will be remembered as an incredible man, a role model and a beautiful person that everyone was and still will be inspired by for years to come. His legacy and the impact he had on everyone will be carried on and channeled wherever they will go. He would want you to love with passion, do it with pride, do it with hope and faith in yourself.

Tony is survived by his loving wife Brandy Vos, his parents Art Vos and Joan Duffy, his siblings Kristen Vos, Renee Vos, Ryan Vos, his wife Launi, Casey Bahn and nephew and niece Kai and Naomi.
