Over her 50-year career she taught hundreds of children and adults and she remembered each one fondly. She was an active member of both the Federation of Music Clubs and Guild of Piano Teachers. "I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Blind?s passing. She was my piano teacher from elementary school through high school and her influence in my journey as a musician carries on to this day. I went on to become a music educator myself and now have a piano/violin studio in West Irondequoit.
My condolences and prayers as you go through this difficult time.
Leah (Kipp) Bertram"
"Mrs. Blind was an incredibly patient and kind piano teacher. I feel truly blessed to have spent every Tuesday at 5:00 from 1979-1983 with her. I learned far more lessons than just how to play the piano. She was a very insightful and wise person. "
