"I am so sad to lose Derek. I was just telling my daughter about the time I got huge pipe burns on the back of BOTH my legs while sitting on the bike waiting for Derek. Heh, one of many, many great memories of times spent with Derek. How about the great Halloween parties and the year D came as Baby New Year! Driving total junkers around the track at his Ramsey house! We had some really great times. I\'m sure going to miss his humor, his kindness, and his presence and I\'m lucky to have called him my friend for the last 30+ years. Rest in peace, my friend. "
