In loving memory of

Ruby Wyatt
October 15, 1937 - August 20, 2021

Ruby L. Wyatt, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the age of 83. Our beautiful mother was the youngest of two children born to Adolph and Louise Raschke on October 15, 1937 in McDade, Texas.

She graduated from Elgin High School and Nixon-Clay Business College in Austin. It was while working at the American Service Bureau and Hooper-Holmes, Inc., in Austin that she met Jesse Wyatt, the love of her life, and they married on September 6, 1958 in Elgin, Texas. They had two children and resided in El Paso and Austin before Jesse's employer transferred the young family to Phoenix, Arizona in the Spring of 1966.

Ruby was a devoted wife, mother and Grandma/Nana, and her family was the center of her world. She loved doing art projects with her precious grandchildren and hosting holiday meals for the family. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and nature, from monsoon rainstorms to bird watching, particularly the quail that lived around their home. Although she lived in Arizona for 55 years, her heart always belonged in Texas where she and Jesse vacationed and visited relatives as often as they could.

Ruby is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Greg Thatcher; her son and daughter-in-law Scott and Patty Wyatt; grandchildren Amanda Thatcher, Cristi Thatcher Cost, Jessica Wyatt; and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by Jesse, her parents and her brother, Lloyd Raschke.

Her ashes will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in Sabinal, Texas at a future time.
