John "Jack" Lehnertz
July 19, 1934 - August 16, 2021

John "Jack" Lehnertz, age 87 of Rollingstone, died peacefully on August 16, 2021 at his home with his family by his side.
Jack was born on July 19, 1934 to Gildard and Helen (Lueders) on the family farm near Rollingstone. He married the love of his life Marlyn Pletsch on September 25, 1954. Together, they were blessed with 5 children, David, Donna, Duane, Denise, and Deanne. Jack was a proud farmer and worked diligently to provide for his family. He cherished every moment with them.

Jack will remain in the hearts of his wife of 67 years, Marlyn; son, David (Tina) Lehnertz along with their children, Corey (Chelsea), and Kayla (Brennan) Farley; daughter, Donna Hoffman and her children, Abigail (Sam) Yackel and Ahlex (Francis) Kortsan; son, Duane (Geri) Lehnertz and their children, Joshua, Amanda (Travis) Tuthill, and Megan (Kyle) Musolf; daughter, Denise (Don) Vaughn and their children, Dana (Josh) Bruemmer and Deana Vaughn; daughter, Deanne Hansen (Thomas Tentis) and children, Damien (Jackie) Hansen and Aeriell (Josh) Meyer along with Tom's children, Lindi and Leah; 26 great-grandchildren, Lexis, Kamryn, Lukas, Koltan, Savannah, Preston, Avery, Kaiden, Josephine, Elizabeth, Isabella, Charlotte, Francesca, Henrietta, Jackson, Ronan, Treyton, Kyson, Kamden, Myles, Maysa, Ettalane, Hudson, Jude, McKenna, and Kaleb; brother-in-law, Larry Gudmundson; as well as other dear relatives.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Gildard and Helen; sister, Sharon Gudmundson; and son-in-law, Robert Hoffman.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 21 at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family to make a donation in Jack's name.
