In loving memory of

PATRICIA A. "TRISH" EVERSON
September 15, 1956 - August 15, 2021

Patricia A. "Trish" Everson, 64, of Marquette, passed away Sunday morning, August 15, 2021 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota following a lingering illness.

Trish was born in Roseville, Michigan, a daughter of the late William and Maria (DeMarinis) Berry. She was raised in Roseville until moving to England in 1971. Her family moved to Marquette when she was a senior in high school and graduated in 1974 from Marquette Senior High School.

Early in 1976, she met the love of her life, Dan Everson at the Alibi in Marquette where they loved dancing to disco music night after night. They were married on August 27, 1977 in Marquette.

Trish studied nursing for three years at Northern Michigan University until she decided that nursing was not for her. She was formerly employed at Yonkers in the Estee Lauder Department. She then started a Doncaster Clothing business with her mom for 25 years. Following that, she started along with her friend, Joanne Clarke, a wedding consulting and decorating business which she was quite active in until illness precluded her from working any longer.

Rheumatoid arthritis took a firm hold on her life at a young age, yet she faced it daily with poise and grace with every step she took. Trish was a very strong, vibrant and courageous woman who met her many challenges head-on.

In her free time, Trish enjoyed painting and crafts, traveling and cruises, spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, McKenzie, who was the light of her life. Trish was a very compassionate and loving woman and will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 44 years, Dan; a daughter, Alysha Wiesner of Green Bay, WI; one granddaughter, McKenzie Sperry; a niece and nephew, Tonya Berry and William Berry; also several cousins. Preceding her in death besides her parents were two brothers, Bruce Berry and Steve Berry.

The Everson family will greet relatives and friends on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Canale-Tonella Funeral Home and Cremation Services where a funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Benjamin Rivard officiating. Burial will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rick Everson, Dave Parsons, Ike Dyksterhouse and Tonya Berry.

Trish always loved flowers and was a dear friend of Sarah from Lutey's Flowers. Sarah will know what to put together.

Trish's obituary can also be viewed at canalefuneral.com where relatives and friends may leave a note of remembrance.
