Delores J. Oldham
October 20, 1935 - August 12, 2021

Delores J. Oldham, 85, of Lewiston, died Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Benedictine Living Community - St. Anne in Winona. Delores was born October 20, 1935 to Emil and Gunhild (Bertine) Oian in Norway Township of Fillmore County. Delores met the love of her life, Arnold Oldham at a dance hall. They were married September 21, 1957 at Rushford Lutheran Church. They made their home in Lewiston, where they raised their two children. Delores worked at Rush Products for 7 years and then Lewiston Villa Nursing Home for 17 years.
Delores was 'full of fun'. She had a great sense of humor and sometimes would laugh so much it brought her to tears. She had a strong work ethic and taught her family to work hard and play hard. She loved spending time in her garden, canning and baking. Delores was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church - Silo, where she was a part of the Silo Serenaders, Ladies Aid, and Altar Guild.
Survivors include her husband, Arnie, two children, Connie Oldham of Wanamingo, a son, Duane Oldham of St. Paul Park and two sisters, Marilyn (Keith) Connaughty of Lanesboro and Kathrine Kulas of Winona as well as many other relatives.
Funeral services for Delores will be 2 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church - Silo, with the Pastor Bert Mueller officiating. A visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of services Thursday at the church.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Benedictine Living Community - St Anne and Winona Health Hospice for their loving care that they provided during her stay. Memorials will go to Immanuel Lutheran Church - Silo, Benedictine Living Community - St. Anne and Winona Health Hospice
