James L. Terry
Canton - James Terry, 82, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at his residence.
He was born on May 5, 1939 in Duff, TN to Abe and Mossey (Marlow) Terry. They preceded him in death.
He married Dotty White on February 17, 1963 in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Debbie (Audie) Roth of East Peoria, James (Vickie) Terry of Creve Coeur, Sheila Jackson of East Peoria, Cheryl Terry of Canton, Carl Terry of Canton, two sister, Rosie Marie Terry of TN, Bonnie Terry of TN, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers Cecil, Tommy and Bud and one granddaughter.
James retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co in Peoria after several years of service. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 11 am at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a visitation one hour prior at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Masonic Lodge.
