Cuba - Dennis Simmons, 63, of Cuba, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at his home in Cuba.
He was born on June 21, 1958, in Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Tiia Marie (Close) Simmons, three children, several brothers and sisters and extended family.
Dennis is a Veteran of the United States Navy where he was a member of the Seebees. He worked as a welder for numerous years and later was an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed stock car racing at Spoon River Speedway, leather crafting, hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed tattoos.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Awareness, or to OSF Hospice.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
