Kristine "Kris" L. Andrews, 58, of Burnside, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Trinity Regional Medical Center.
A Celebration of life will be held on August 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM
at the V.F.W. Post 1856 Located at 2835 5th Avenue South in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Survivors include her daughters Theresa Andrews and her fiancé Brady Lyons and their son Bryson of Goldfield, Heather Andrews of Boone and her son Josiah of Boone, her mother Patricia Kinseth of Fort Dodge, stepsisters Cindy Seger and Gayle Estes.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Potter, stepdad Elwood Kinseth, brothers Mike and Tim Potter
Kristine Lynne Potter was born on February 18, 1963, in Fort Dodge. She attended schools here and graduated from St. Edmond High School in 1982. Kris was married July 17,1970 in Fort dodge to Doug Andrews. The couple were later divorced.
Kris was the best mom to her children whom she loved very much and always made sure they were taken care of. She worked at Becker's Florist and later HyVee Floral. Kris enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, camping, fishing, and drinking Pepsi and even a shot of "fireball". Kris loved to go asparagus and mushroom hunting, more than anything she loved her grandsons. Kris was the rock of the family and will be forever remembered and missed by her family and friends.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
