Deborah Ann Pikarsky
6/12/1969-7/23/2021
Deborah Ann Pikarsky, age 52, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 23, 2021 in Austin, Texas surrounded by her loving family after her long and emotional journey with cancer.
Deborah was born on June 12, 1969 in Miami, Florida to her parents Philip and Gladys Philips. She grew up and graduated from Coral Gables High-school in 1987 but met the love of her life- Scott Pikarsky the year before in 1986, while working at the local Publix. The two love birds ended up getting married in 1989 and moved to Austin, Texas where they started a family of their own and had two beautiful daughters, Jessica and Rachel. Deborah got into banking and was with Frost Bank for 21 years- through her journey with cancer she never wanted to stop going into work because she didn't want anyone to pick up her slack. When she was put on medical leave all she was worried about was making sure her position was still there when she came back. Deborah was very dedicated to her work and enjoyed everyone she worked with so it made going into the office easy, she felt bad if she ever had to call in. Deborah became a grandma in 2019 to a precious little girl named Jade. Deborah spoiled that little girl everywhere she went. She couldn't wait to watch her grow up.
Deborah was very easy-going and laid back; she enjoyed traveling with her family, watching cooking shows, and of course going to get a pedicure. Deborah made every holiday special whether you wanted to celebrate or not. She was the most amazing wife to Scott, the best mother to Jessica and Rachel, and the sweetest grandma to Jade. Her spirits will always be with us and we will live on for her.
Deborah was preceded in death by her father Philip Philips and mother Gladys Philips of Tallahassee, Florida. She is survived by her husband Scott Pikarsky, her daughters Jessica Pikarsky and Rachel Pikarsky, and her granddaughter Jade of Austin, Texas as well as Adriana Bissey her best-friend of 40 years from Tamarac, Florida.
There will be a service for Deborah held at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 2:00pm.

"Debbie, Thank you for being a friendly face and a kind heart. We didn?t know each other well, but you always made me feel like an old friend. Your funny laugh and sweet disposition we?re magnetic. You will be missed greatly. My condolences to your family. "
"Oh momma.. I can?t even put into words how much I miss you. My heart is broken and you have taken a piece of it with you. I?m so grateful you were there for the birth of Jade and able to see her first two years of life. She asks about you daily and I tell her ?grandma is in Heaven? and she repeats me and looks up to the sky. I?m sorry you suffered for so long, we just couldn?t let you go but you hung on and put up one heck of a fight. Please look over us my guardian angel. I love you forever and always! "
"My lifelong best friend, I cant believe you are gone. I will miss our times together, no matter how long time had passed, when we were together it was like we had never been apart. So many experiences we shared. You were my family even though we were not blood. I promise to always be there for the girls and Scott. Until we meet again, I love you forever and ever. "
"Debbie, You always had a smile to greet, a compliment to give and a helping hand to lend. It was a joy to know you. I'm sure heaven has a giant latte waiting for you. I will miss you dearly, girlfriend. Xoxo"
