"Rex would always brighten my day when he came into KMAQ. He told the best jokes! I'll also always remember the time he rolled his lawn tractor off a bank at his home. I told the Aircare folks that if he quits cracking jokes, they better check him out closely. :-)"
"Karen and family, I'm so sorry to learn of your family's loss. My heart is heavy for you, as I know the journey makes one's ache. Please know you are in my thoughts. Forever friends. Lora Murphy "
"I worked for Rex for over a year when I was 15 years old. Even stayed at the house over the winter rode the bus to school from there. The man could find humor at any time. Would not be politically correct in today?s world and my guess he would be fine with that!. He taught me some basic good work habits. He and Sis were fun to be around. Stopped a couple of times over the years to see him one time my Dad was with me. Rest In Peace Rex thanks for being my friend. Randy Schurbon"
