Joan Hartner
July 21, 1942 - July 9, 2021

Joan Hartner was born July 21, 1942 to Bill and Clara Collins. Her father passed in World War 2 serving as a Marine on Iwo Jima. Joan went to be with Yahweh July 9, 2021 as a servant to the Most High. Joan was loved by all that met her. She was kind and loving to all she met as she prayed for so many. She always said, "I will be praying for you." And she meant it. She was a loving person that wanted everyone to know the Father the way she did. Joan was a member of Glory Fire Church in Lake Mary for many years as a greeter and a great hugger with kind words and a prayer. She was loved by her church family and friends. Joan is survived by her son Bob Hartner of Mt Dora with whom she made her home. Her daughter Kathy Freer of Merritt Island, her grandson Branden Barna of Merritt Island, her granddaughter Madison Freer of Merritt Island, and two grand dogs Elijah and Simeon of Mt Dora. She will be missed and never forgotten by her family and her many friends. There will be a memorial service at Glory Fire Church 45 Skyline Dr Lake Mary FL July 24 , 2021 @ 5pm. Please come and honor Joan. There will be refreshments, desserts and salads in the café at the church after the service.
