November 7, 1957 - July 13, 2021

Lynnette Simonson, 63, of Callender passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Lynnette is survived by her husband, Kevin Simonson; children, Karleen (Cerelle) Carlisle of Ft. Huachuca, AZ and their children Cerelle Jr. and Karmin, Rachel Anderson (Duemece) of Pueblo, CO and their children Devan, Daniel and Dylan and their grandchild, Vayden, Rambo (Ashley) Holder of Otho and their children Kaden and Rylie, and Mariah Miller of Callender; and sister, Laurie Utzke of Otho.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Judy (Chelleen) Saliger.

Lynnette Lea Saliger was born November 7, 1957 in Fort Dodge. She attended area schools and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1976. She then went on to attend Iowa Central Community College where she received her certification from the nursing program. Whether it was her children at home or patients in the hospital and even kids at her daycare, Lynnette had a passion for taking care of others. She loved to be out on the farm. She enjoyed riding horses and even belonged to a saddle club and the local 4H Program. She was a gifted musician and loved to play the organ and cello. Her favorite time was spent with her husband Kevin enjoying their family and grandchildren.

Memorials may be left to family discretion.
