Jerry Allen Cater, 74, of Cumming passed away Monday, July 12, 2021. Jerry was a loving and hardworking man. He was a good provider and always put his family first. Jerry was baptized at Longstreet Baptist Church and was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Farris Faye Cater; children, Wayne Cater, Ricky Cater, Candy Cater, Sandy Callahan; stepchildren, Eileen Mulligan, Connie Roberts, Douglas Lewis, James Lewis; numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 16, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Martin officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia in charge of arrangements.
