Daniel P. Breeden, 77, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home surrounded by his family.

Dan is survived by his wife and best friend of 59 years, Phyllis Breeden of Fort Dodge; children, Linda (Jim) Arends of Lehigh, Peggy (Tim) Allbee of Fort Dodge, Daniel Breeden, Jr. of Mitchellville; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, John Breeden of Fort Dodge, Robert Breeden of Gowrie, and Madlene Rank of Carroll.
Daniel Paul Breeden was born March 14, 1944, in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in Fort Dodge. On March 5, 1962, he was united in marriage to Phyllis Marsh at Riverside Methodist Church. The couple established their home here. Daniel worked for the City of Fort Dodge and Trinity Regional Hospital until retiring in 2000. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers. He loved doing repair work on his home and cars but especially, loved spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids along with his two dogs, Gus and Cubby. He was our little firecracker that always made us laugh. Dan was always very kind and thoughtful.
Memorials may be left to family discretion.
