Theresa L. Kunde, 52, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.

A gathering of family and friends celebrating Theresa's life will be held on August 28, 2021 from 1 to 5 P.M. at Rustic Park in Lost Nation, Iowa. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family.

Theresa Lee Kunde was born on May 27, 1969 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Earl Duward and Elizabeth Lee "Dolly" (Ralston) Kunde. She was a 1987 graduate of Maquoketa Community High School.

Theresa was a CNA for Crestridge, a bartender at the Quarterdeck, and worked at E.I. Telemarketing in Lost Nation. She loved spending time with her family. Theresa was always quick to crack a joke. She wasn't shy to show off her nails, jewelry and makeup which screamed the 80's! She was the first to flirt and make a person feel loved! She would let you know just what she thought!! Theresa was a loving, sarcastic, fun, and sweet person!! A ball of fun we all will deeply miss.

Those left to honor her memory include her siblings, Laurie (Charles) Fox of Colesburg, IA, Allen (Carol) Kunde of DeWitt, IA, Loretta (Rick) Elliott of Des Moines, IA, and Tammy (Luvern) Clark of Oxford Junction, IA; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 infant sister, and two brothers August and Andy.

The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family. Please feel free to call or stop at the funeral home with notes of support or leave words of comfort on the funeral home website at www.CarsonAndSon.com.
