Brent Paul Marshall
September 19, 1977 - June 30, 2021

Brent Paul Marshall 43 passed away on June 30, 2021, in Phoenix, Az. He was the recent survivor of his fiance' Michele L. Howard and they shared 13 years together.

Born in Falls Church, VA, he was the son of William Ray Marshall and Jaquelin Marshall Mejak. He attended Richard E. Miller Elementary, Royal Palm Middle School, and graduated from Sunnyslope High School. Brent completed his higher education at Arizona State University earning two Master's Degrees. Brent was a member of the Honor Society Phi Kappa Phi. In his elementary school years, Brent received multiple academic awards for his achievements in Reading and Math. Later Brent received several academic accolades to include the President's Awards, Student of the month, the National Honor Society, Excellence awards in academic education over multiple platforms.

Brent learned the financial industry with collections and owned a collection agency serving as President of Amend Financial. He was employed at Discover Financial where he went to school and went from customer contact to Human Relations. When Brent left to follow his dream in the medical field, a Discover credit card was created in his name and he was awarded with a plaque of accomplishment. Brent was a Psychotherapist who held a double Master's in MSN and was certified as LCSW. He was a published author including a peer-reviewed article in the Journal of General Psychology professional journal. He owned Healing Service Agency LLC where he dedicated his life to helping others. He oversaw multiple employees and was a key to guiding others to heal from life's trauma. The Healing Service Agency LLC at Arrowhead is an outpatient mental health and integrated wellness clinic. He provided his experience to help individuals, couples, families, and groups. Outpatient services offered treatments to include EMDR, Trauma-focused Treatment, CBT, Substance Abuse Treatment, and Domestic Violence Treatment.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In the church, Brent held the office of Priest in the Aaronic Priesthood. During his teenage years, he had many enjoyable Temple visits. The church was always in his heart. Brent completed Seminary in his youth and participated in service projects where he enjoyed making positive differences in others' lives since he was a youth. Brent was earned the Eagle Scout award in April 1993. He will be remembered for his brilliant mind, quick wit, and humor. He always was the first one to make sure anyone in the same room felt welcomed and loved. Brent exceeded at everything he performed. He played little league baseball and also was the recipient of many academic scholarly awards. Brent stood tall at 6' 4" and had a very gentle and loving presence. He was musically inclined and played the trumpet, acoustic, and bass guitar. His favorite place to be at one point was when he was in his band. Brent was a natural at painting with oil paints and had expressed himself through painting.

He is survived by his dad William Ray Marshall and step-mom Sue Kenly Marshall, and mom Jaquelin Bazell Mejak and step-dad Neil Mejak, brother Kevin Andrew Fox married to Michelle Leigh Fox , sister Kimberly Erin Marshall duToit, Uncle Joe Howard Marshall married to Mindy Lou Marshall, Aunt Diana Sue Day married to James Ronald Day. His step sister: Sheri Kenly married to Kevin Burke. Step brother: Steve Kenly married to Melissa Kenly with children Logan Kenly, Laine Kenly. Step sister: Jill Kenly with children Amanda Kenly, Carly Alton, David Alton, Drew Alton, Hannah Pettis, Madison Pettis. Cousins: Kenneth Thomas Marshall, John Robert Marshall, and Tori Paulita Marshall, Jack Lee Day, Daniel James Day, Christian Kate Day. Nieces and Nephews: Kaylee Jacquelin duToit, Kaitlin Cara duToit, John Cornelious duToit, Brittany Mariah duToit, Brie Anna duToit, Jacob Michael Fox, Ethan Mathew Fox, sister in law Michelle Leigh Fox, great-nephews Ollie Connor Demers, Rylan Paul Demers. He is also survived by his dog of 15 years Max and predeceased by Michele Lynn Howard on February 25, 2021.
