"Mr. Tyler will always be remembered by me. I was surprise to see this notice today. I have fund memories of him because every holiday I would get a phone call from him wishing me that holiday and inquiring about my family. I will miss those thoughtful phone calls. Please know you have my prayers. Evelyn (DCHC)"
"Shote you meant the world to me, Robyn and her 3 kids. You were a brother, father, grandfather to us when we didn't know we had one. We were so hoping to bring you up to MN when the weather turned better for Ranay's birthday or Robert's graduation. No one in the world was more thoughtful than you to send birthday cards 30 days before there birthday. Ok I stopped counting. Your flashy style of dressing was awesome we new when Mr. Clean was coming! You always cared and wondered was everything alright with the other person rather than concern the light on you. Man life is too short that period between life and that short dash between death. We love you your spirit and hope to continue that trend to the end!"
"Big brother, so many fond memories that I have of you, when I became a High School All American and without a father, you always told me to be the best at whatever I do and I valued that. I became productive, I have achieved three academic degrees and graduated with honors because of the encouragement and lifelong advice My big brothers Pete and Shote always influenced my life and to know that Shote had a major impact on my life growing up and becoming a man. I loved you but God loves you best!
Elijah"
