Michael W. Davison
August 28, 1943 - June 23, 2021

Michael W. Davison, 77, died on June 23, 2021, at his residence. He was born on August 28, 1943, in Columbia, South Carolina, the son of Merrill R. Davison and Barbara (Tepper) Davison.

Mike graduated Kenmore High School, Class of 1961. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy to serve his country during the Vietnam Era as a Naval Hospital Corpsman. While stationed in Washington, D.C, for technical training as a
Neuropsychiatry Corpsman he met and married Roberta (Pierce) Davison on August 3, 1963, in Virginia. Mike and Roberta had five children, and divorced after 21-years of marriage. After separating from the military, Mike completed his Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University and worked for Goodyear Aerospace with his father before transitioning to the Department of Economic Security and People of Arizona as a Social Worker for 32-years; he also was a certified substitute teacher for the Arizona Department of Education.

His infectious humor and generosity was well known throughout the Valley and the organizations he supported. Mike was a loyal member of the American Legion Post 105, Disabled American Veterans, and the Fraternal Order of
the Eagles - Aerie #2957.

He is predeceased by his parents. Survived by his brother, Merrill Davison and his five children; Michael Davison II, Monica Davison, Rebecca Bron, Robin Davison, Matthew Davison, 13 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held 12:00 pm, Saturday, July 10 at Christopher J. Lapka, American Legion, Post 105, 12450 N. 35th Avenue, STE 20, Phoenix, AZ 85029.
