Dorothy Mae Scott was born January 26, 1944 to Allen James Scott and Leitha Mae Bollwitt, she had six siblings four sisters and two brothers: Sarah, Arlene, Shirley, Marilyn, John and Vernon, she is survived by Shirley Lewis and John Scott. Dorothy met Ralph at a church event at the age of 13 and she knew then that he would be her husband. Upon Ralph Hankins leaving the military from the US Army he went to Elliott's Tasty treat Drive-Inn North Platte, NE and got his companion. Dorothy and Ralph were married June 7, 1964 at the Open Bible Church in North Platte, NE. Dorothy soon became a housewife and mother, she was blessed with six children: Ralph Jr., Robin, Russell, Ron, Becky, and Rachel. She assisted on the family farm and supported her husband as he worked at the Union Pacific Railroad. She cherished Family above everything, she enjoyed her family and friends, building computers and going to church and serving the Lord and she was very strong in her faith and prayers, AMEN... AMEN... AMEN... Dorothy had 7 grandchildren: Brandy, Tyler, Jesse, Jacob, Triston, Quinn, and Seeley and 6 great-grandchildren: Draven, Karma, Caydon, Laina, Eli, and Brayden and she was blessed with many other extended grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ralph and Dorothy was married for more than 57 years and both love their family with all their heart.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
