"Anne was the youngest of seven children born to Uncle Gordon Knobel and Rose Ryan Knobel, who was my mother's younger sister. Aunt Rose died in 1978 of cancer. Anne was a very sweet person who was close to her siblings, especially the second youngest, Sheila who also lives in Phoenix. She was a strong, practicing Catholic Christian. I am so sorry for the loss to her husband, Brian, and children Patrick, Molly, and Ian, and to all my Knobel cousins. "

"The smile. Anne always seemed to have a smile with her. She happily shared this with others. (The smile (and she) often made my day just a little bit brighter, even in the briefest of encounters. My heart is sad for the beautiful family that Anne left much too soon. But I rejoice in the belief that all shall meet again someday. Thank you, Lord, for allowing my path to cross with hers."
