"Sweet Christi has left this earth way too soon. There are so many memories of her growing up and our families intertwined. She truly was a sweet girl & I do not think that changed at all when she grew up. My heart goes out to Jeff and the girls. Please know the O'Brien family is only a phone call away , anytime, anyplace. Sending hugs and love from Mary & family."

"My deepest condolences to Jeff and the Girls as well as the rest of Christi's family. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. There are no words. My heart aches for you and I wish I could spare you this particular challenge. It is a true tragedy and the world lost one of the sweetest Angels I've ever known. I met Christi back in college through Julie and we all were friends. Christi was warm, sweet but had a fiery sass about her and used sarcasm for her humor. Frequently she had us in stiches laughing so hard our sides would hurt. She was quick witted, bright, and smart as a whip. I loved most about her that she could be silly right off the cuff. When we were all looking at bridal/bridesmaids dresses together, she put on a fashion show and added character to each dress. Good Times. She would do anything for you but don't piss her off. She wouldn't take any gruff off no one. And she had no problem putting you in your place if you picked on one of her own. I didn't have the opportunity to forge the same close relationship with her as Julie did, but I loved Christi none the less. She was an amazing woman who had the perfect blend of old world charm and new world tycoon. My life was truly blessed for having known her and being friends with her. I've always admired her and thought she was extra special. We stayed in touch through Julie sending warm wishes back and forth over the years. We all were together until we all started getting married and we split in different parts of the country. I will miss her sweet smile, bright eyes, warm heart and gentle soul. Rest In Peace my dear sweet friend. To Jeff and the Girls, know that she will never be far away, she will watch over you and that she loved you very much. If you need anything, don't hesitate to reach out. Blessed Be. ~ Tonya Maynard, Inman SC "

"Christine & I would spend numerous hours on the phone trying to unravel the intricacies of the Eclavea family tree, our failed or successful recipe attempts, and most of all the loves of her life. They are & always will be: Jeff, Ariana & Sophie. Rest in Peace now, Christine. With much love & sympathy, Auntie Fran & Uncle Lope"
