Beatrice "Bea" Cervantez
August 12, 1927 - June 22, 2021

Beatrice "Bea" Cervantez 93, passed away June 22,2021,at Sunrise Care Home in Scottsdale,Arizona. Bea was a beloved wife, mother,and sister.She was married to Emilio Cervantez on October 18,1947. Together they raised three sons, Paul, Ruben, and Mark. Bea was born in El Paso, Texas, to Joe and Sarah Ortega. She is one of 5 daughters. Josephine, Margie, and Carmelita who have since passed. She is survived by her sister Aice Martinez of Verde Lee.

Bea graduated from Clifton high school. She went on to take credits from college. After Emilio's death, Bea went to work for Phelps Dodge as a bookkeeper, and later as the manager of the men's dorms. Bea was a member of Holy Cross Catholic church in Morenci, and also a member of Saint Rose of Lima Catholic church in Safford. As a family we want to recognize the care that Blessed Sacrament Catholic church in Scottsdale, Arizona, for providing ministry to Bea during her stay at Sunrise Care Home.
Bea loved to swim. She loved her friends and family. She loved to cook for all. While being the manager at the men's dorms, at Thanksgiving she would make them all a turkey dinner and bring it to them, in case they couldn't get home.

Bea is survived by her two sons Ruben and Mark. Bea also survived the passing of her son Paul. Bea has four grandchildren, Stephen Cervantez, Robbi Sapp, Karen Cervantez Clark and Sarah Cervantez.. She also has five great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Ashlyn Sapp, Emma and Kellen Cervantez, and Owen Cervantez Clark. Bea also has many nephews and nieces.

Bea's funeral mass will be held July 2,2021 at 10:30, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. The address is 11300 N. 64th St, Scottsdale, Arizona 85254.
