In loving memory of

Jean Borman
June 22, 1947 - June 16, 2021

Jean Borman, a resident of Cave Creek, AZ passed away on June 16, 2021. Born in Jamestown, NY to Dominick and Rose Letta, her family moved to Buffalo, NY when she was three months old. She graduated from Lafayette High School in 1965 and met Richard (Rick) Borman in 1967, whom she married in October 1969. They had two children, Robert (Rob) who passed away in August 1999, and Rosanne (Rosi). Jean was a loving mother, dedicated to raising her children and being a cheerleader for her husband during his working career which took them to Chicago, IL and Grand Rapids, MI before returning to Buffalo. Jean and Rick were very active, playing softball, volleyball, and eventually settling on tennis, a sport they both loved. Jean was also a gifted cook, and always enjoyed spending time in the kitchen. Their daughter Rosanne moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1996 and married her husband Russell Delmont in September 2000. When Rosanne announced she and Russell were starting a family, Jean and Rick moved to be near them. Jean and Rick have two grandsons, Dominic (born 2003) and Luke (Born 2004). The close relationship Jean and Rick had with Rosi and Russell, allowed for active participation in watching the boys grow up. While the boys were growing Jean became more active in service work such as the Foothills Food Bank, WINGS (Women in Gabriel's Service), and the Giving Tree, dedicated to provide gifts and resources for underprivileged families at Christmas. Her engaging personality, love of sports and dedication to service allowed her to touch the lives of many people and created a wide circle of friends. Jean is survived by her brother Vincent (Jim) Letta and her sister Donna Lee Letta.

Donations should be made to either Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, or Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix. A Mass of Cristian Burial will be held Wednesday June 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel's R.C. Church in Cave Creek, AZ.

"Jean, my longtime tennis friend , set the bar very high in how to fight with grace through life battles and always having plenty of empathy and genuine compassion for those around her. My life has been blessed by her in many important ways. Fly with the angels and enjoy your mansion the Lord made just for you! ? Pam"
