Sandra (Sandy) Lee Bennett Jenkins, 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13th in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was the wife of Paul Henry Jenkins. They shared 58 years of marriage together. Sandy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and proud cancer survivor.
Born on April 20th, 1942 in Wausau Wisconsin, she was the youngest daughter of Louis Raymond Bennett and Theadosia Kirkpatrick. She graduated from Wausau High School in 1961. Sandy married Paul on October 27, 1962. They had two children, Mark and Michelle. Sandy loved spending time with her family and entertaining their friends. They moved often and lived in Wausau, Eau Claire, Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit, Los Angeles and Phoenix. Sandy enjoyed decorating and redecorating their homes.
She is survived by her husband Paul, son Mark (Linda) Jenkins, daughter Michelle (Peter) Caldwell, grandson Bennett Caldwell, granddaughter Kaley Caldwell, and sister Gloria (Wayne) Gossage. Predeceased by parents Louis and Theadosia Bennett, brother William Bennett and sister Joan Schaefer.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 18th at 11 am at St Patrick's Catholic Community in Scottsdale. There will be a visitation at the church from 10:30 am to the time of the service.
