In loving memory of

Jacob Brice Kitt
February 22, 1992 - June 12, 2021

Jacob Brice Kitt, 29, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2021, at his home in Ogden, Ut. He was born February 22, 1992, in Ogden, Utah to Steve Kitt and ShaMe' Hemsley.
Jacob was a welder by trade and had been employed at Trails West and most recently at J. Calls Painting LLC. He enjoyed so many things in life. He loved writing, drawing, and cars, but being outdoors and fishing was a must! Jake didn't have a family of his own so his nieces and nephews meant the world to him. He honestly had a huge heart and would drop everything for anyone who needed him. He will be deeply missed!
Jacob is survived by his mother ShaMe' Hemsley (Terry) Belew; his siblings Chelsea (Justin) Kofoed, Cami Carlson, Kellie(Mike) Oxx, Zachary (Whitney Chatterton) Rynes; nine nieces and nephews, and his grandparents Gail and John Barr and Dallas Hemsley. He was preceded in death by his father Steven Kitt.
The family would like to thank the Franklin County Funeral Home and Sun Sage Floral for their thoughtfulness and help.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, June 19th, 2021 from 10 am to 11:45 am at the Franklin County Funeral Home 56 S State Street, Preston. Burial will follow in the Preston Cemetery. No formal services will be conducted. Please share a favorite memory of Jacob or offer condolences to the family by leaving a tribute on this page.

"My favorite memory of you? Now that\'s a tough one! Could be the time you defended me against my own blood and you and your mother so graciously gave me a place to sleep while also showing me what true loyalty and family really was or maybe it\'s one of the times we snuck into the shed on the farm to steal a few puffs and I\'ll definitely never forget the night my grandpa sent you home cuz \"it\'s getting pretty late\" even though we were both on our twenties ? honestly I\'ll hold all our memories in a special place in my heart and be thankful for the many years I got to call you my friend. Jake was special, more than most! He spent his life giving all he had to others, loving them with his whole heart but for some reason couldn\'t find that love for himself, even questioned if he even deserved that love he so generously gave to so many others. I will miss him, his smile, his heart of gold and all the memories we still had time to make! Until next time my dear old friend."
