May 16, 1941 - June 9, 2021
After 80 wonderful years in this world, Maria Li Greci was called to heaven on June 9th, 2021. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Maria was born on May 16, 1941 in Firenze Italy. She had 3 siblings, who have all passed away. She is survived by her loving husband Mario Li Greci, two daughters- Susie Li Greci and Enza Duda, Greg Duda (son in-law), and her 3 grandchildren, Lauren Duda 25, Christian Capriotti 24, and Matthew Duda 23, who she adored with all her heart. She was very proud of her grandchildren's accomplishments and made sure to share that with all her friends and family.
Maria was a seamstress by trade in Italy, and her career changed when she moved to United States and started working for Motorola. She retired after 20+ years of service. Once retired, Maria and Mario built a beautiful log home in Flagstaff, AZ to spend their retirement years together. They enjoyed each other's company, as they were married for 57 years.
Maria's cooking and baking were well known and loved by many, including her family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. She enjoyed outdoor activities, crafting, swimming and most of all taking care of her grandchildren when they were young. She will always be remembered as a woman of great strength and endless love of family and faith.
She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation is scheduled Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Hansen Desert Hills Chapel 6500 E Bell Road Scottsdale, AZ 85254. Services are Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:00 am Most Holy Trinity Church 8620 N. 7th St. Phoenix, AZ 85020.
Interment to follow at 11:30 am St. Francis Catholic Cemetery 2033 N. 48th St. Phoenix, AZ 85008.
