Mary Louise Boyd, of Austin, Texas, passed away on the morning of June 14, 2021, at the age of 81. She was born to Hancel and Vallie Harris on January 10, 1940, in Lampasas, Texas.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John Thomas Boyd, daughter Sheila Schwartz and her husband Dusty of Buda, Texas, daughter Sharon Boyd of Cedar Park, Texas, granddaughter Danielle Valdez and her husband Michael of Midland, Texas, and grandson Garrett Yero of Houston, Texas.
Mary and John Boyd fell in love and were married on September 3, 1960, at the First Baptist Church in Adamsville, Texas. They moved to Austin in 1962. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Texas Employment Commission for 36 years. She retired in 1995 and then devoted her time to her family, especially her grandchildren. She continued to play bridge, sew, quilt, volunteer at her church, and attend all of her grandchildren's various sports games and activities.

Graveside service will be held at 9:30AM Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Townsen, Cemetery in Adamsville, Texas. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00PM Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Woodlawn Baptist Church.
