"I remember 25 years ago yesterday that you all were at our wedding! Bobby did some of the videoing during the day and night! So thankful to have you guys there!?"
David Robert Rodriguez (38) of Peoria AZ, passed away on June 7th, 2021. He battled Leukemia twice and had two stem cell transplants which resulted in remission. David had over 500 blood and platelet transfusions during his five year fight for his life. All this resulted in irreversible damage to his liver. He tried every treatment possible, went through more than we can ever imagine, and he fought so hard to recover so he continue life with the ones he loved.
David was known as Bobby or Bob by his childhood friends and family. Most people who met him in high school or after know him as David. David was born in Phoenix Az in 1982 to David and Lori (Klujeske) Rodriguez.
David is survived by his wife Denise (Bailey) Rodriguez. David and Denise blended their families together and raised them as one. David is also survived by their children, Nathaniel Beach (20) (Teresa Hinojosa), Sierra Beach (19), Lexie Rodriguez (14) (Terisa Gideon), Mason Rodriguez (9); two grandsons Michael Beach (2), Josiah Beach (6 weeks); Parents David Rodriguez and Lori (Klujeske) Rodriguez; Sister Hillary (Rodriguez) Whitfield; Niece Emma Rodriguez; Nephew Charles Whitfield; Honorary Brother and Best friend Ceaser Tarango; Many aunts, uncles and cousins. David is proceeded in death by his grandparents Lester and Ruth Klujeske, Manuel and Esther Rodriguez.
David loved playing and watching hockey, he was a huge fan of Star Wars, and he was passionate about vintage Volkswagen's. In the last year or so he was obsessed with raccoons, so much that he thought one could make a great therapy racoon. One of David's favorite things to do throughout his life was play guitar. During his Junior High years, David took lessons at the Community Church of Joy and was given several opportunities to play with the worship team. A few years later, David and his Tata Manny took lessons at Estrella college and performed in a recital together. After his grandfathers passing, David was given his guitar and he cherished it greatly. David was known for ordering computer parts and building computers in his bedroom. His room looked like a workshop with an abundance of nuts and bolts scattered everywhere, Many nights he would sleep with a monitor or tower in his bed. After he built the computer he would program it. Most people didn't do both especially at 14 years old, in the late 90's with no formal training. David was an employee of Swift as a mechanic for 17 years. Family and friends were very important to him. David is greatly loved and will be deeply missed.

"Aunt Diane remembers Bobby?s pet rat that road on his bike and how Uncle Carl got such a kick out of it and laughed! Lol she also remembers when Bobby left the rat outside on a really hot day and that did not end so well for the rat!"
"I spent a lot of time with Dave in high school. We had some hilarious adventures, and I made sure to keep in touch with him wherever life took me. He had an unshakable sense of humor, even when he was in pain. It has been a great honor to know him, and I wish nothing but the best for all friends and family. May the Force be with you, always."
