"Our hearts ache along with yours as you grieve the loss of this amazing woman, your Mother, Grandma,Great Grandma. What an example of faith, hard work, and selflessness. I will always remember good times spent with Aunt Lois and her infectious laugh. I will miss our frequent (and sometimes brief) phone conversations -- she always took an interest in our family and I could sense the love that she had for all of you, as we shared the most recent news. We take comfort in the fact that she is rejoicing in the presence of our Savior, along with so many others that we love & miss. Miriam Swanson & family "

"I have known Lois for many years and have gotten to know Lois more in the last few years and have enjoyed our talks and laughs. I think I probably shocked her sometimes with some of my comments though!!! Lois was a very caring and hard working person. I hope I can be half as ambitious as Lois was at 87! My deepest sympathy to the family, she will be missed! "

During summer months of 1954 my sister and I stayed with Lois and John, we cherished our time with them giving us loving memories. Through the years we stayed in touch and enjoyed visiting. Lois was a good person in every way and role of her life. I will truly miss her, God bless her immediate family."

"When someone we love leaves this earthly life, it is always difficult. From the time we first met, some 45+ years when Faye introduced me to her parents, Lois (or \"Grandma T\" as our kids called her) was always kind and thoughtful to me. I had great admiration for her, especially in how she dealt with serving -- for many years -- the needs of family members dealing with health challenges. She did so with never a complaint, despite how difficult it must have been for her. She was a wonderful Christian woman who raised a fine family. Praise the Lord as we cherish our memories celebrating her life. May He comfort us as we also mourn her loss. She will be missed."
